Bio

Australian immigrant. First-gen undergraduate student. Grateful and proud to be at UC Davis.

Interested in pushing climate change studies to consider not just how the world's economies have lead to a climate crisis but, in extension, how the climate crisis prompts new forms of economic behavior. How does the extraction of critical minerals, for example, contribute towards a world-building process geared towards 'undermining' the dominant view of the Anthropocene as the end of the human?

Education and Degree(s)
  • M.A., Social Sciences (Anthropology), University of Chicago, 2023
  • B.A., Philosophy + Literary Studies, Deakin University, 2020
Research Interests & Expertise
  • Climate change; post-carbon transitions; landscape transformation; resource extraction; critical minerals; transnational supply chains; state capitalism; settler colonialism; Australia.
